LEGACY GRAND PRIX EVENT

Sunday, December 10th

 

Legacy Diving Grand Prix is a skill based competition where legacy divers will be competing against each other using the 8 levels of future champions.

 

Timeline:

9:00am doors open, registration table open

9:00am-10:00am Warm up, Future Champions + Rising Stars.

11:00am-1:00pm Competition, Future Champions in Water, Rising Stars in Dryland then switch .

1:00pm-2:00pm Warm up, Junior Elite Water

2:00pm-4:00pm Compete Junior Elite Water

4:00pm-5:00pm Compete Junior Elite Dryland

 

All DD for Future Champions and Rising Stars are 1.0, while Junior Elite has 1.0DD for Skills and true DD for Dives.

 

All Dryland will be scored on the following scale:

2.5 - 4.5 Deficient

5 - 6.5 Satisfactory

7 – 8 Good

8.5 – 9.5 Very Good

10 Excellent

Ground:

Future Champions + Rising Stars Routine:

  1. Modeling (no hurdle) 1. Start at T arms go up on toes, 2) Knee bend, 3) arm circle, 4) stand up / extend
  2. Headstand
  3. Handstand with partner, press or kick up
  4. Handstand walking
  5. Tuck kick out (4 step)
  6. Pike up (2 step)
  7. Forward rolls
  8. Forward rolls to pike out
  9. Backward rolls
  10. Splits and pike stretch

 

Junior Elite Routine:

  1. Modeling Front, Back, Reverse, Inward, Swim
  2. Press to Handstand
  3. Handstand walking
  4. Tuck kick outs (6 step)  
  5. Pike Press outs (6 step)
  6. Rolls on ground, forward and backward
  7. 102C,202C,302C,402C ground flips
  8. Pike ups stall bar x 5
  9. Tuck pike outs stall bar x 5
  10. Splits and pike stretch

 

Trampoline:

Future Champions + Rising Stars Routine:

  1. 100A x 5 no arm swing consecutive
  2. 100C x 2 with arm swing
  3. 100B x 2 with arm swing
  4. Back Drop x 1
  5. 201C to back drop x 1
  6. Dog drop x 1
  7. Donkey kicks x3

Junior Elite Routine:

  1. 100ABC with arm swing x 2
  2. 201C&B come out to back
  3. 102CB x 1
  4. 202CB x 1

Competition levels & lists for water!

Anyone in future champions or rising stars will only compete 1-meter and 3-meter. 

Those in junior elite will compete 3-meter and 5-meter

Tier 2: (Any skill must be from the skill bank above, voluntaries are 101,201,301,401, optionals can be any dive)

  1. Level 5: 3 skills, 4 dives (2 voluntaries, 2 optionals)
  2. Level 6: 2 skills, 5 dives (3 voluntaries, 2 optionals)
  3. Level 7: 1 skill, 6 dives (3 voluntaries, 3 optionals)
  4. Level 8: 7 Dives  (4 voluntaries, 3 optionals)
